Conclusion
The focus on preventive measures is effectively stopping the swine flu disease from spreading too fast. Efforts by authorities worldwide have limited the damage done by the swine flu virus, with only Mexico suffering a high casualty toll. There is no place for despair because it now seems that the disease is not as bad as it was first predicted. It can be concluded that being extremely cautions has significant benefits when fighting a possible pandemic.
